Injection Preform Moulds

Injection blow molds are used in the production of PET products. Similar to other molds, these molds contain a volumetric cavity that shapes the product. Inside the mold cavity (cavity), the preformed and heated tube-shaped (preform) polymer material is blown to form the final product.

In injection blow molding machines, preforming is done in the preform mold within the machine. The hot preform is then blown in blow molds to create the final product. In stretch injection blow molding machines, the preform is produced and made ready. These preforms are heated in ovens and blown to form the product.
